Workshop for actors with Tommi Zeuggin
When an actor enters the stage, does the audience decide in the first moments whether they love him/her and trust him/her and are willing to follow him/her through a play or not?
How is this magical moment created? What is a good stage presence? Is there a method to work on this special presence? I don’t believe in methods.
In this workshop we discover rules of theater through simple games. Words we hear most in the workshop: Joy, complicity, humor, beauty, impulse. Free games lead to theater. Unfortunately, the opposite is not true. Too often theater leads to boring theories.
The most important thing is to discover theater not through theater but through the joy of life.
The theater needs people who bring surprising and colossal joys to the drama.
